On another topic... today, when I got out of my english class, my teacher asked me to take some of her stuff to her car. When we left the classroom, Josue, the manager of the Saturday clases and my teacher´s husband, saw me and asked her 'Hey, isn´t she the girl you told me you wanted to--'' the thing is: she is considering me as a person who could teach basic english in a future module, along with another classmate (dunno who, thought), I wouldn´t get paid, but getting a scholarship instead.

But, of course, I wasn´t supposed to know right now, and can´t tell anyone in the class about it, thank you Josue~~ <333

The oddest thing happened yesterday:  My brother helped me with my homework.

Yes, the one who usually says no helped me with no pressure whatsoever.

The homework is to look up a song in english, translate it and bring a cd with it to sing it in class, preferably with no repeated lines. I casually told him that he remined me of that because he was hearing Green Day, the nex thing I knew, we where searching songs by said band.

My niece and brother act like siblings, I swear....

They tend to tease, play and sometimes fight each other. But it´s actually a bit dangerous since he´s older than her, thus being stronger physically. Notto mention that it has actually happened from time to time. I suppose this is when  relatives live under the same roof.


Oh, oh! and guess who's their part-time 'mommy'! :DDD

it was fun, shame we don´t have a class tomorrow, but still..  <3

Now that I think about it, going to the IMARC (english teaching career/course thingy that I´ve been talking about these days) will be just like primary school... only on either friday or saturday (chose the second) and the schedules are (for the sat.) 8:00am-1:30pm and 2:30pm-8:00pm (chose first). A friend of mom´s who studies there had said that they have recess, although I´m not sure when.

It´s funny that my niece keeps asking me that I should not be like those mean teachers. XD

And talking about her, she just left with her mom to San Antonio for the Hannah Montana concert... I suppose that´s an advantage of living in the border, plus being a few hour away from S.A. XD

Also, next saturday I start my english teaching course omg *nervous*

So, the month almost ends, which means I´m nearing my start with the english teaching course/career, oh man... *nervous*

I´ve also been able to talk with some classmates from Uni by messenger, always bombarded with questions about getting back next semester with them and  answering that I´m not sure, but considering how things stand regarding  money and the university´s probable stand on my absense... I assume it´s highly unlikely. ^^;


On another note, the weather´s been strange lately. Fall started this week with cool temperatures, a very high contrast with the burning  ones we got this year in summer, thank goodness... but it switched to being warm this weekend, odd. XD


This also means teh Michi has a very boring real life.

Well, I think nothing interesting have been happening lately, hence why I didn´t post until today.  The only good thing is that Mom´s birthday was yesterday :DD didn´t give her a gift, though, but she says it´s okay ;^;

I´ve gone to the conclusion that, in order to get more chances to get a spot as an english teacher (which is a technical career) I must also study the actual educator career.

Thankfully, that issue I wrote last entry has been resolved.

Checking my email the other day, I found out one of my friends sent me a homework subject, probably as a result of mass sending...

Some minutes later, an ex teacher of mine sends an archive which has some school theme.

The furniture shop? nope, haven´t been there yet, sorry!

But the thing is, I decided to try teaching english. I´ve been told for a long time that I´m really good at it, and often answer questions meant for the teacher, hahaha. XD
This morning I called a english center that offers both normal tutoring and a teacher course, asked about the level placing test and decided to take it today.

To be honest, I was nervous. I mean, sure I´m good with this language, but I´ve been slacking lately... and this is to see if I was able to teachit, dangit!

It was...

Easy!

Only got mistakes 4 out of 80, so it  nicely places me in Advanced 3! but that also means: I´ll wait for October to enter 8D; Aparently, the people who just entered the same level as me are in Adv. 1, and they´ll be 3 aorund that time, which it will be ok for me to sign up... Quoting my parents: 'So they need more time to catch up with you~' hahaha! XDDD

I had to change my meeting for next monday, because the person I need to see usually has weekends off... heh...

In the end, school told me that they weren´t looking for new people right now, but would surely consider me if need be. :)


Better fill out that information thingy for tomorrow when I pay a visit to the furniture store that had offered me a spot some time ago. And to look professional! yeah! >:3


Edit: Oh Access, I´m slowly remembering how we hanged out before. XD

Yesterday mom had to go to Eagle Pass, and we had enough money for a video game plus other stuff. Since my brother can´t cross the border because his visa expired, I had to go and look for the game he wanted. The ones he had on his mind where, in order of importance: Tales of Legendia, Final Fantasy 10 and, as a last resort, FF 12.

When we reached the video game store, I asked for Legendia, but the clerk checked their database and said they didn´t have any copies of it left :( sad... but thankfully they had FF10, used, but at least there´s a nice discount. When the man was cleaning the disk I decided to check out the ps2 section, just because...and there it was! a Legendia copy! :O We where all shocked, the guy then realized he checked the wrong game  XDD so he quickly apologized, it was kind of cute~ So we decided to take Legendia instead, since brother wanted it the most .

The games friggin hilarious, with the way the characters walk plus the little...musical at the fountain. XD  and it was strangely funny to hear Cam Clarke again~

Regarding the job seeking I´ve been doing these days, I found out a assistant teacher has resigned from my old school, so me and momthough that maybe I can ask to work there. Called today and one of my ex-teacher answered, once she knew why I contacted them she assured me that she´d talk about it with the principal and asked me to call again tomorrow. If it doesn´t work, I´ll just stick with the furniture shop plan. Either way, I´ll be happy that I´ll actually do something. :D
